This was my second attempt at making this type of tart but this time I used completely different recipes for the pastry and custard filling. Once again the oven caught on fire due to the pool of oil from the butter boiling out of the pastry. I put it out with baking soda so don’t worry about it! Also, the tarts were quite tasty.
