Boulderz and Climbers Rock are holding a bouldering competition series this summer – The Summer Sweat Fest. I shot the third comp. in the series and the first to be held at Boulderz. Andrew let me turn his gym into a little studio so I could have some interesting lighting. Here’s the setup:
Two flashes were up at ceiling height using some simple A clamps and triggered with Cactus triggers. An SB-800 was on camera (for fill) and used to bounce light off the opposite walls.
No gels were used since the walls are a light brown and the bounced light is already warm (how convenient!).
