Even though it was a weekend I got up super early to join my father and brother at the Japanese Gardens in Seattle for a fall photo shoot. The Gardens hosts these events for photographers each fall and it’s the only time when you can use a tripod. I brought along a light stand (forgot the umbrella, natch) and tried to make some pictures…
This is my favorite – I had a polarizer on the lens to take away all of the glare and allow the darkness of the water to contrast with the brightly colored leaves.
